TextFit uses AI technology (Claude by Anthropic) to process your text messages and analyze food photos you send. This means:

• Your messages are sent to Anthropic's API for processing to generate personalized coaching responses
• Food photos are analyzed by AI to estimate calorie and macronutrient content
• AI-generated responses are not medical or professional nutritional advice

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with:

• Twilio: Our SMS provider, which transmits messages between you and TextFit.
• Anthropic: Our AI provider, which processes your messages and food photos to generate coaching responses.
• Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Who host our database and application servers.
• Legal Requirements: If we are compelled by legal process or to protect our rights.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you use the Service. If you opt out by replying STOP, we will retain your phone number on a suppression list to honor your opt-out request. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where retention is required by law.
