Cone Dribbling (Soccer)
A soccer skill drill where you dribble a ball through a line of cones. Improves close ball control, foot speed, and the ability to change direction with the ball.
How to do it
- 1Set cones in a line about 3 feet apart
- 2Dribble through using small, controlled touches
- 3Use both the inside and outside of each foot
- 4Keep the ball close to your feet and your head up as much as possible
Common mistakes
- Taking touches that are too big, losing control of the ball
- Only using one foot or one surface
- Looking down at the ball the entire time
