Juggling (Soccer)

Keeping a soccer ball in the air using feet, thighs, and head without letting it hit the ground. A fundamental skill that builds touch, coordination, and comfort on the ball.

How to do it

  1. 1Start by dropping the ball from your hands and kicking it gently back up
  2. 2Use the top of your foot (laces area) with a locked ankle
  3. 3Contact the ball softly — just enough to bring it back to waist height
  4. 4Keep eyes on the ball, stay on the balls of your feet, and use both feet

Common mistakes

  • Kicking the ball too high, losing control
  • Using only one foot — alternate to build both sides
  • Letting the ball spin wildly instead of applying a clean contact
