Juggling (Soccer)
Keeping a soccer ball in the air using feet, thighs, and head without letting it hit the ground. A fundamental skill that builds touch, coordination, and comfort on the ball.
How to do it
- 1Start by dropping the ball from your hands and kicking it gently back up
- 2Use the top of your foot (laces area) with a locked ankle
- 3Contact the ball softly — just enough to bring it back to waist height
- 4Keep eyes on the ball, stay on the balls of your feet, and use both feet
Common mistakes
- Kicking the ball too high, losing control
- Using only one foot — alternate to build both sides
- Letting the ball spin wildly instead of applying a clean contact
