World's Greatest Stretch

A multi-step dynamic stretch that opens the hips, thoracic spine, and ankles in one flowing movement. Widely used in warm-ups for its total-body mobility benefits.

How to do it

  1. 1Step into a deep lunge, hands on the floor inside the front foot
  2. 2Drop the back knee if needed, push the front knee out gently
  3. 3Rotate the inside arm up toward the ceiling, following with your eyes
  4. 4Return the hand to the floor and repeat or switch sides

Common mistakes

  • Rushing through positions without spending time in each
  • Not rotating far enough in the thoracic spine
  • Front knee collapsing inward instead of tracking over the toes
